Rafter P Construction, the Official Builder of the NCHA, is proud to present the 2026 Loper of the Year Award, our third year recognizing the hardworking men and women whose dedication, grit and passion help keep the cutting horse industry moving behind the scenes.

Lopers play an essential role in the success of every horse and rider. From long days at the barn to early mornings and late nights at the show, their commitment, knowledge and willingness to do whatever it takes deserve to be recognized.

As a longtime supporter of the NCHA and the cutting horse community, Rafter P is proud to continue this tradition and celebrate the people who give so much to the sport we love.

Founded by Brad Pryor, Rafter P has grown into a leading design-build construction company serving the farm and ranch industry, built on the same values we see in the Lopers we work alongside: grit, perseverance, dedication and a deep love for the Western way of life.

Brad's own background in the farm and ranch industry shaped the culture of Rafter P and its belief that success is built through hard work, determination and showing up when it matters.

The Loper of the Year Award is our way of shining a spotlight on the people who make success possible for others.
