Loper of the Year Award

Rafter P Construction, the Official Builder of the NCHA, is proud to present the 2025 Loper of the Year Award — our third year honoring the hardworking men and women who keep the cutting horse world turning behind the scenes.

As a longtime supporter of the NCHA and the cutting horse community, we are thankful for the partnership and the continued opportunities it brings to give back to the sport we love. The Loper of the Year Award was created to recognize the dedication, grit, and passion that Lopers bring to the arena every day. Their tireless work ensures the success of every rider and horse, and their commitment deserves to be celebrated.

Founded by Brad Pryor, Rafter P has grown into the leading design-build construction company in the farm and ranch industry. Brad built the company culture on the same principles that drive Lopers: grit, perseverance, and a deep love for the western way of life. Having grown up working in the farm and ranch industry himself, Brad understands the dedication it takes to reach your goals, even when the odds are stacked against you.
